Customer Reviews

501 W Choctaw Ave, Chickasha, OK 73018, it was a wonderful walk into the past but in a different city and State. I have my bad days so looked to make sure that if I had to use my wheelchair, I'd be able to get into the building. No problems there. The folks were very wonderful, pleasant and smiling, offered a suggestion on a slaw that they had that was homemade and delicious. Even the customers were friendly, and we were strangers, which says a lot for the community. The coneys were great, atmosphere was making one feel right at home. Many years ago my Grandpapa took me into a cafe just like that, stools around the counter, only thing is these seemed shorter and no way could I spin around and around on them. but the memories were so real. The floors were clean even with as busy as they were. Try the slaw, It outdid my favorite. I think they need to add food coloring to match the holiday but it was still very good the way it was. Milk shakes were good and thick. I enjoyed seeing small children enjoying their meal too. Parking was good, we had no problem there. Next time we are up that way we are going to stop again. Love homely atmospheres. Thank you to all the staff that made this memory come to life once again for me.

Double onion burger was wonderful. I ordered mine with no bun. When u order a plate of fries. Make sure to sare them with someone. It's worth a stop if you need a quick bit to eat. They really know how to do fast food. But, with a home cook kind of way. You need to definitely stop in ang give them a try.

Greeted upon entry. All seats are at the bar and grill. All food is made in front of you. The portions are big especially the French fries. I am not an onion fan but I had to try the onion and cheeseburger because it is one of their popular items. The onions are cut into thin strips and are grilled to tenderness. It's a good burger. The small order of fries are served as a tall pile in a basket and there were so many that two of us still couldn't finish it. I can't wait to try their tater tots. We tried the chili cheese hot dog. It was served hot and was good. The actual hot dog is kind of small but it was still good. And although everything was good and tasty, the best part was the price-$12.00 for two of us. We both had water, shared the cheeseburger, shared the chili cheese dog and shared the basket of fries.

Great diner food. Got the large onion burger for breakfast. Pretty great, not super special but solid onion burger. Will definitely return. The hash browns looked yummy. Prices are good and the people are great, very friendly. They are taking care of business at this place. Never saw them standing still, always helping folks.

You can smell the onions frying from blocks away! Once inside it takes you back! A short-order cook slinging beef, fries and onions on the grill right in front of you, with expert workmanship is a sight to see! Toasted hamburger buns just add to the experience! The food is excellent! This is a must-stop destination for the food, atmosphere, and theatrics of a good, old fashioned diner! Don't sleep on this one, folks! 5 Stars out of 5!
